We’re giving more value than ever with considerable changes in the Reward Miles earning rate when you fly with Saudia. Earn more Miles on your Saudia flights and use less Reward Miles when redeeming Rewards!
These changes to the AlFursan Program have overhauled the fundamental earning and redemption rates to make the path to redeeming Rewards faster for our Members.
For example, Members previously would need to take, on average, 18 domestic Saudia flights or 12.7 international Saudia flights to earn a Reward Ticket. However, as of 13 December 2022, those numbers, on average, have been reduced to 7.9 international Saudia flights or 8.8 domestic Saudia flights to earn a Reward Ticket.
Furthermore, to ensure you can draw the most value from your Miles, we have amended our three-year expiry period policy to ensure our Members can keep building towards great Rewards at their own pace! Our Reward Miles earning rate changes have been designed to complement the improvement in value achieved from lowering the redemption rate of Reward Miles. This means that you will be able to reach your Rewards faster than under the old AlFursan Program rules. This is true even for the saver fares where the number of Miles earned for a Saudia flight has been slightly reduced.
Terms And Conditions:
- Tier Credits are applicable for upgrading a Membership Tier. Tier Credits are earned by Members after having travelled on Qualifying Flights during any one Calendar Year.
- Reward Miles are applicable for redemption for Rewards. Reward Miles are earned by Members after having travelled on Qualifying Flights or made Qualifying Purchases.
- Members on Silver (Elite) or Gold (Elite Plus) Membership Tiers will have opportunities to earn additional Reward Miles based on the base miles of Qualifying Flights or travel class categories.
- Reward Miles shall be valid for a 2 year period from the date of the last qualifying activity.
- To ensure that Tier Credits are accrued to the Membership, Members must ensure that the Membership number is quoted at the time of reservation or check-in for Qualifying Flights.
- To ensure that Reward Miles are accrued to the Membership, Members must ensure that the Membership number is quoted: (1) at the time of reservation or check-in for Qualifying Flights; or (2) at the time of paying for Qualifying Purchases.
- Reward Miles and Tier Credits accrue once per Qualifying Flight per Member based on the fare of the cabin class of the Qualifying Flight that was purchased regardless of the cabin class in which the Member flew.
- Members shall not earn Reward Miles or Tier Credits through: redeemed Reward Tickets, free travel, non-scheduled or charter flights, discounted travel tickets, promotional tickets, industry or agent discounted tickets, tickets without fares or class, compensation tickets, sponsorship or public relations tickets, or group tickets.
- Reward Miles are not redeemable for cash.
- Saudia reserves the right to deduct any ineligible Reward Miles or Tier Credits from any Membership if credited by mistake or due to violation of Terms and Conditions.
- Where Members are also members of other loyalty programs, benefits cannot be claimed from multiple programs for the same transaction.
- Members between the age of 2 and 11 years will earn Miles at 75% of the rate applicable for Members aged 12 years or over.
- References to AlFursan Miles or Miles are to be construed as references to “Reward Miles” as defined in the AlFursan Program Terms and Conditions.
