Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) and The Helicopter Company (THC) Sign at MEBAA 2022

Saudia Group subsidiary, SAEI establishes new relationship with PIF-entity, The Helicopter Company (THC)
Dubai, December 7, 2022, Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI), a subsidiary of the Saudia Group, and The Helicopter Company (THC), a fully owned PIF company, will jointly explore of the establishment of a rotorcraft heavy maintenance base. This would include new hangars and a focus on partnership opportunities with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for authorized service center certification. The collaboration will include the consideration of eco-system synergies between SAEI and THC with the goal of enhancing rotorcraft operations. 

“The timing of this partnership is optimal as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is entering a period in which rotorcraft usage is expected to increase significantly in terms of volume and the range applications across both public and private sectors.” Commented Captain Fahd H. Cynndy, CEO, SAEI.

CEO, THC, held the signing ceremony at MEBAA 2022, on the SAEI stand. The event was attended by His Excellency, Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Saudia Director-General, and executive team members from both organizations and the PIF.
