SAUDIA to add two new routes to its global network
SAUDIA announces the start of two new routes this June. Athens will start June 5th and Marrakesh on June 6th 2019.
Both flights will be standalone routes; operated nonstop and direct from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Morocco and the Hellenic Republic.
The Jeddah-Marrakesh route will be operated with a state-of-the-art wide body Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with 24 seats in Business Class and 274 in Economy Class, operated three-times-weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays) effective June 6th.
The Riyadh-Athens route will be operated with an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration, four-times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays).
SAUDIA flying to Malaga from Riyadh
On 6th of June 2019, SAUDIA will start operating its direct seasonal flights to Malaga – Spain, from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, with two weekly departures on Thursday and Saturday each week.
Riyadh - Malaga route will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with 24 seats in Business Class and 274 in Economy Class. Which is equipped to provide the best comfort and luxury for guests.
SAUDIA launches advanced communications technology on-board
SAUDIA has concluded its participation in the first Saudi International Airshow by announcing the official launch of advanced satellite communications technology on its aircrafts. This includes Internet services at a very high speed exceeding 50 Mbps. As well as dial-up and data using mobile technology (G3,5) and TV broadcasting for eight channels. Furthermore, new services and diverse options through the entertainment content that has been developed and increased to accommodate all segments of the guests.
SAUDIA added more free social messaging applications on board
WeChat and Instagram are now available in the free texting plan for you to enjoy on board SAUDIA.
SAUDIA is the first and only airline in the world to provide a free social messaging plan that includes five of the most popular and widely used applications.
Included in the plan is texting up to 10 MBs, which can be used on any of the included five chatting applications: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, iMessage, and now – Instagram chat and WeChat.
